Coffee Superfood Smoothie {dairy and gluten free, paleo & vegan}

Serves: 1-2
  • 14 ounces water {or ½ coffee}
  • ¼ cup raw soaked walnuts {any nuts}
  • 1 small frozen banana
  • 3 tbsp. hempseeds
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 2 tbsp. cacao powder
  • scoop of clean fiber
  • 1 tsp coffee extract
  • 1 tsp maple extract
  • dash stevia
  1. In a Vitamix or strong blender add liquid, nuts, banana and blend.
  2. Add hemp seeds, cacao powder, fiber, extracts and coconut oil.
  3. Blend together and add stevia to taste.
  4. Drink right away, as the longer it sits the smoothie will thicken due to the fiber.
If you use coffee you can omit the extract. Ice the coffee before using in the smoothie. I use decaffeinated extract or the organic instant freeze dried coffee. This super food smoothie has about 20 grams of protein naturally and not to mention all the amazing minerals and vitamins from iron to magnesium! When adding fiber choose a clean pure psyllium powder. Please use organic wherever you can.
