Hi, this was a great video. My husband and I are trying to add more nutrients to our diet. We do not know where to begin…at 26 years old, we are shocked to know that most everything we grew up eating offered no real nutritional value. I’m glad I stumbled upon your video while looking for a doctor.

      Hi Nicole,
Thank you for visiting Spoonful of Health! I am honored to be a part of your Health Journey. There is tons of information out there and it can be mindboggling at times. I am with you on the disappointing revelation that most of us ate such void foods growing up. Your not alone. Sadly, today we not only are faced with foods that are void (even so called fresh veg/fruits) of any nutritional value but foods that rob our body of nutrients (double whammy). The toxic additives and chemicals we are ingesting is down right scary. I applaud your concern to add more nutrients to your diets. I think starting with super foods like chia seeds, hempseeds, coconut oil, flax, and cacao powder etc is a laudable starting point. Please let me know if I can guide you in any way to a healthy path. This is our passion and after 25 years we know what works with patients and seeing life changing benefits that are lasting is a gift. Cheers to your health Journey Nicole!

    Hi Dawn,
Thank you for you reply, I thought of looking up your page and just realized that you answered back. I definitely enjoy the benefits of coconut oil. I still am working on adding the chia seeds, hempseeds, flax, and cacao powder into my diet. It is crazy how much everything in the standard American diet is so toxic! Thanks a ton!
