Today I am guest posting over on Word Traveling with my dear friend, Jen {who is my inspirational travel guru}, and she asked me to share with you “How to Eat Healthy While Traveling.”  Have no fear, I am by no means advocating you deprive yourself of culinary experiences while on vacation because for my family we are all about the food!  Of course, we eat mindfully but with clean-eating indulgence and joy!

In this post I will divulge with you my secrets of  how to not bring home any extra junk in the trunk, if you know what I mean {wink}!  Also, I will share with you our personal favorite travel snacks, a few recipes from Spoonful of Heath’s archives, tips on how to eat healthy while at your destination, and even some fast food restaurants that offer clean and allergy-free foods.  You might be shocked about the fast food list but even more surprised to know the Doc ate at one of these places!
