I have been seeing all these winter Facebook posts and Instagram pictures of everyone wearing serious hats, scarves and gloves. It gives me chills just thinking about how cold it is everywhere.
I wanted to post a green smoothie but the thought of creating something cold was not appealing because it is freezing here…..ok maybe not freezing but really cold. Cold enough I had to put the heat on in our house.
It was in the 40’s in my neck of the woods and this Florida girl can’t layer another shirt under this sweater, long sleeve shirt, and tank with a scarf {did I mention I am in the house with the heat on}. I might consider buying thermals!
This creamy hot chocolate was created because I was racking my brain trying to think of how I could make a superfood drink that could be hot. So viola! I really wanted to add something green but couldn’t bring myself to mess with a good thing!
Wishing you some sweet chocolaty Love on Valentines Day and everyday!

- Stir and heat slowly. No need to boil.
- Add your favorite toppings and savor the flavor!
It was helpful to fill the empty can of coconut milk with filtered water so I could get all the cream out and not waste that deliciousness. I loved adding different extracts for a new version. I have to say maple was my favorite!

Definitely making this soon! Christmas time is my favorite!
You will feel the Christmas spirit drinking it with the peppermint extract! We have added other extracts like hazelnut, maple and vanilla too. Cheers to your health!
Yum! I’ve been making my own coconut milk too since it’s super easy and or course BPA free and no additives!
