I don’t know where to begin…so I will start with a simple and humble “Thank You” dear reader for your loyalty as a fan, your trust in our knowledge and your desire to eat healthfully! With out these we could not share our passion! To celebrate I wanted to give several gifts away {look below for details & instructions} throughout the week to show you my appreciation in helping share the gift of health!

I am definitely my father’s daughter {he has a tender heart} so know my heart is abounding with gratitude from my being as I type this.  I wish I could meet you each in person and give you a big hug!  I am such a kinesthetic person and sometimes blogging can be so lonely because I like to engage with spoken voices and laughter especially over food {wink wink}.

This Year I have learned much about the blog world, I have been a student of the most successful ones, I have listened to your requests like having a print button for recipes {check it out if you haven’t}.  I have attended Food Blog conferences, listened to the gurus in this field and of course, kept up with the latest health care technologies with our Clinic and food science.  We simply want to serve you the best we can!

In this post I wanted to share some of Spoonful of Health’s  most popular recipes over the last year {according to my stats}! I had planned to share only 12 but I added a few more because it was so hard to leave out some of my favorites.  I love hearing from you {and so do the other readers} so please comment and let me know if you have made any of these recipes.

Dawn, what can I say I might be a little too partial in this area as your Dad but simply put your passion for health, food, friends, family and the pursuit of a happy healthy wholesome life is contagious! You have touched so many already and believe it or not you have reached me too as you know I’m a stubborn slow person to change. Congratulations on your first full year! I love you with all my heart!

I have made several of these recipes, mostly the sweet treats since that is my weakness and I want to cut the sugar. My favorite would have to be the chocolate stuffed strawberries. I am a huge fan of avocados and my daughter wouldn’t go near them until this recipe (and truth be told she has no idea what she is actually eating but she loves it!). I have started just making it as a pudding and whipping up my own fresh organic cream sweetened with stevia on top and it doesn’t last long around here. Brought it to a group I attended last week and everyone was digging in and loving it! I always direct them to spoonful of health. Happy 1st Anniversary!!
